Australian Camp- Hiking
The Australian Camp Trek is a fairly easy trek in the beautiful foothills of the Annapurna. The trip offers gorgeous views over the valleys and stunning views of the Annapurna Mountain range.
This trip can be done all year round and is also very suitable for people without any hiking experience and people of all ages. The highest point is around 2000 meter.
It will give you a great impression of the Himalayas in all her magnificance. From sunrise to sunset the colors will keep on changing offering the most incredible views. You will hike through dense forests, along the hillsides and through mountain villages where we will stop for drinks, lunch etc.
Experience: Suitable for people without hiking experience
Departure: We will start at 7.00 in the morning.
Meeting place: You will be picked up from your hotel. We drive to the starting point of our Trek in Kade and hike to the Australian Camp from there. We take a different way back and end our hike in Phedi. From there we will drive back to your hotel.
Total Time: We will need minimum 5 hours for this trip inlcuding the transfer from and back to the hotel. Depending on our hiking pace, the amount of stops as well as taking pictures, the trip could take up to 6 hours.
What do you need? We advise to wear hiking shoes for this hike to prevent any injuries. We also advise to bring water, a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses. Depending on the season insect repellant and/or a rain coat might come in handy as well.
